We certainly have options in how and where our children will be educated…public school, private school, home school, or Christian school. Selecting from these options is one of the most important decisions you will ever make as a parent.

You, as the parents, are the primary educators of your children. You impart your values, attitudes and beliefs to your children by teaching and modeling. As one of the most influential people in your children's lives, you impact the choices your children make.

Although you are the primary educators of your children, we, at Heritage Preparatory Academy, are in a unique position to support you.

Heritage Preparatory Academy is a result of many prayers and the desire to see a non-denominational Christian education choice in the Ford County. We are committed to supporting Christian parents and the local church in the training of their children. Heritage Prep equips students not only with the academic and social skills needed for life, but also with the spiritual and moral skills needed to grow "in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52)

The staff have over 50 years of combined teaching experience. The board members are all college educated and involved in leadership roles in their churches. The curriculum we use is researched carefully and chosen to be challenging and move the students along at a rapid pace. As a point of accountability we do standardized achievement tests annually and for all new students. We strive to provide a safe place where your children can learn and be encouraged in their unique gifting and abilities.
